Numb
Toxic laughs, deceiving eyes, foolish mouths,
all covered in
such innocence as white, fluffy snow,
such innocence as white rot fungi.
Its irresistibly contagious charm lures me.
My intoxicated nerve is paralyzed.
Its sweet, musty smell slowly suffocates me.
My fragile nostril shivers hard.
Too dizzy to turn away,
too exposed to breathe,
I vanish into numbness.
