Bio

Mielle Park (b. Seoul, Korea) is a mixed-media painter whose immersive, abstract works explore the layered depths of emotion, memory, and the tactile language of materials. Her paintings incorporate fabric, thread, beads, glitter and other materials into densely layered surfaces, creating psychological landscapes that hold space for both vulnerability and resilience.

 

Park holds a BFA in Visual Communication and completed Post-Baccalaureate studies in Fiber and Material Studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She currently lives and works in the Chicago area.
